Essex Style:

Cedar

  • This urn is handmade from Cedar softwood. The Essex Style Cedar cremation urn features dovetailed corners. Dovetailing is a hallmark of high quality craftsmanship. Village Woodworking of Vermont has passed down this skill in order to create exceptional cremation urns.

  • The wood which is selected for our Essex Style Cedar Cremation Urn is of the highest quality. This urn features aromatic red cedar which gives a pinkish tone. The grain of cedar often has a knotty appearance and the occasional lighter streaking. Due to the natural variation of wood, each urn is unique.

This urn is filled with cremains by removing screws holding the bottom of the urn. The bottom of the urn also has felt pads which provide smooth movement across surfaces.
